Just for fun

I forgot to blog that I got ordained earlier this week. Call me Reverend, I suppose. I would prefer "Priestess" or similar. Does this mean I get to give myself a title? Ooh...

I don't know yet what else I'd need to do to perform handfastings & such, if anything. There's a "kit" via ULC, which is where I assume they make their money. Ordination is free and apparently binding and legal.

I read about it in a new craft book (handcraft, not witchcraft), about how you can create a "Church of Craft" by becoming ordained and then hosting a crafty get-together. I thought, "I wonder if that's true and if there's some hidden cost somewhere." Nope. Plenty of products to buy at the ULC website after you're ordained though.

Not that I felt I needed any kind of ordination but I thought, "Cool" and so I did it. Nothing to lose :)

Aspen is a good friend and fellow druid. He is also ordained, and will be marrying me and Kismet next month.

You might want to contact him for info on what you need to do to perform these ceremonies, I'm sure he'd be glad to answer your questions about anything else you might need.

Best of luck!!

Thanks a bunch! I might just do that. I would love to be able to do handfastings some day.
